Alaska Marine Highway

Travelling on a road that is made of water instead of asphalt - the Alaska Marine Highway. Protected from the waves of the Pacific by thousands of islands, it leads up the northwest coast of America to Alaska and the Aleutian Islands. Traveling by ferry in the Inside Passage, a section of the Alaska Marine Highway, is a journey through one of the most fascinating landscapes in the world. The journey can be interrupted at numerous places and continued by another ferry.
